Robotics News Roundup

Last Friday, we were fortunate enough to participate in iBridges Toronto and talk about how robots can help make the world a better place.
Earlier in July, iPal and Alice were all business when they visited CI Investments.
Back in June, we announced the winner of our win a robot contest. And meanwhile, Guelph library’s BeepBot has been busy helping and encouraging kids.
Around the world…
- A new study shows that “social robots can lead to more positive emotions in sick children”. This doesn’t surprise us, because our own iPal has already been helping different kinds of children around Canada.
- The federal government is investing $49.6M in AI and robotics for agriculture, and Edmonton is looking to use robots to plow snow.
- More and more summer camps are using robots like ours to teach children STEAM skills. And most of our educational robots are still on sale.
- Others are working on space robots that are controlled with VR. You might say we’re already living in a science fiction novel!
Want your own robot? It can happen: They’re available to order now, and many are on sale. Or if you just want to learn more, feel free to send us an e-mail and we would love to discuss further!
